Pay Rate: $55.43- $60.00 per hour based on years of experience
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. Partnering with Talantage LLC, we are currently seeking a Part-time Evening Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Western Correctional Institution located in Cumberland, Maryland.
The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
Evening Shift: 24 hours per week (2x12 hour shifts)
Qualifications
- Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
- Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Prior nursing experience not required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
