Research Assistant

Applicants should have/be (i) a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medicine or a related discipline, preferably a Master’s degree; (ii) the research skill set of primary cell culture, histology including staining and immunohistochemistry and data analysis; (iii) willing to learn new things, self-motivated, well organised, cooperative and responsible; (iv) able to work independently; and (v) good communication skills in both English and Chinese.

Duties include (a) performing research under the guidance of supervisor; (b) assisting laboratory personnel with learning new technical skills; and (c) performing any other laboratory duties as assigned by the supervisor as appropriate. On-job-training in research about tissue engineering and regenerative medicine will be provided to complement skillsets as necessary.
