Residential Electrician Duties:
Residential service, maintenance, and inspections — Perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on home electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable operation.
Wiring and equipment installation — Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, devices, fixtures, appliances, and related components using appropriate hand and power tools.
Electrical layout planning — Plan and execute wiring layouts and equipment placement based on job specifications, residential electrical codes, and safety standards.
Whole‑home rewiring — Complete full‑structure rewiring projects, including circuit upgrades, panel improvements, and replacement of outdated or unsafe electrical systems.
Residential Electrician Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of progressive electrical experience in residential settings
- Experience in residential repair and install
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record (to operate company vehicle)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of safety compliance
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Able to handle physical workload
