About the role
Your mission
Bun venit and a warm welcome from all of us here at Sungrow!
We’re looking for a proactive and well-organized Residential Spare Parts Specialist to join our Service Centre in Romania and support our residential energy storage service operations across Europe.
You’ll help make sure the right spare parts and replacement units are available at the right time, enabling our service teams, installers, and partners to keep customer downtime to a minimum. Here’s what your mission will look like:
Keep in mind this is a 2-year limited opportunity.
- Manage spare parts and replacement units for residential energy storage products, ensuring availability for warranty cases, repairs, and service replacements.
- Plan and optimize inventory based on demand forecasts, installed base, product lifecycle, historical consumption, and service requirements.
- Coordinate order fulfillment, stock allocation, picking, packing, shipments, returns, and deliveries with warehouses, logistics partners, installers, and field service teams.
- Monitor stock levels, backorders, lead times, and potential shortages, taking proactive action to reduce supply risks and service delays.
- Manage replacement, repaired, and refurbished units while maintaining accurate stock records, serial-number traceability, and transactions in SAP, CRM, or warehouse management systems.
- Track spare parts KPIs and consumption trends, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with logistics, procurement, technical teams, and European service operations to continuously improve our spare parts processes.
Your profile
All right, that sounds like quite a mission. To feel at home in this role and make a real impact within our Service Centre, your background should look something like this:
- You have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- You bring at least 3 years of relevant experience in spare parts management, inventory control, logistics, or supply chain operations, ideally within energy, electronics, industrial equipment, or another technical environment.
- You have hands-on experience with inventory planning, warehouse coordination, order fulfillment, cross-border logistics, demand forecasting, and stock optimization.
- You are comfortable working with ERP, CRM, or warehouse management systems, with SAP experience considered a strong advantage.
- You combine strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle urgent requests, supply risks, and multiple priorities independently.
- You communicate confidently in English at C1 level or above; German and/or Chinese language skills are an advantage, and you are comfortable collaborating internationally and travelling occasionally within Europe when needed.
