ROUTE HELPER

Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:45am-3pm, Saturdays as needed

Job Description:

We are seeking a Route Helper to assist drivers with daily routes, directions, and service locations to ensure efficient and timely completion of scheduled stops. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with drivers to navigate routes, identify service locations, and support daily operations safely and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist drivers with directions and navigation throughout daily routes.
• Help identify customer locations, service addresses, and scheduled stops.
• Communicate route updates, road closures, and potential delays to drivers.
• Assist with planning the most efficient routes when needed.
• Open and close gates to provide drivers with access to containers at service locations.
• Assist drivers with locating containers and ensuring access to designated service areas.
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Ability to read maps, follow directions, and use GPS navigation systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with drivers and other team members.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions as needed.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional Saturdays based on business needs.
