Position at JBS USA
Job Title: Safety Trainer
Location: Green Bay
Reporting to: Safety Manager
Starting Pay: $25
Essential Job Functions:
- Train new and existing employees at all levels in safety compliance programs.
- Perform Compliance Audits (i.e. hazard identification, fire extinguisher, eyewash station, etc.)
- Participate with emergency evacuation drills
- Work closely with training department to ensure proper training requirements are met
- Log and track all compliance training.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct Contractor Orientation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience Required:
- Knowledge or experience working in meat or food processing industry preferred but not required
- Experience with heavy industrial machinery preferred
Skills/Abilities Required:
- Strong communication skills
- Safety-minded
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced manufacturing atmosphere
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and web-based application proficiency
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Bi-lingual preferred
- Must be able to work Saturdays when needed
