Position Summary:
The Sample Associate plays an important role in ensuring FOH® samples are organized, accurate, and ready to represent our products at their best. As part of the Distribution Center team, this position supports the day-to-day operation of the Sample Warehouse by preparing outbound sample orders, receiving and stocking inventory, completing cycle counts and inventory transfers, and helping maintain accurate product locations.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and keeping things moving. The Sample Associate works closely with the Sample, Warehouse, and Sales & Customer Service teams to help ensure sample requests are completed efficiently and products meet FOH® standards before reaching their destination. As a foundational role within FOH®, this position provides the opportunity to build warehouse, inventory, and systems experience while contributing to a collaborative and fast-paced team.
Additional Information:
- This is a permanent, full-time hourly position, starting at $16.00 an hour (Non-exempt)
- Full-Time schedule is Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- This position is based in a warehouse environment, where teamwork and efficiency are essential

Major Duties Include:
- Completes sample activities for outbound orders and replies to Sales Customer Service team in a timely manner
- Completes daily sample warehouse bin replacements
- Completes daily assigned cycle counts
- Transfers all inspected inventory to its corresponding bin in the Sample Warehouse on a daily or as needed basis
- Assists Sample Sr. Specialist with bar code printing or product inspection as needed
- Assists Sample Sr. Specialist returning unused items to their assigned bins and completes the transfer in SAP
- Receives sample inventory from factories and stocks them in their assigned bins
- Assists Pickers locating products in the Sample Warehouse
- Communicates to Managers when there are high instances of products that do not meet minimum standards for the Sample Warehouse
- Repacks and process production orders to convert into -SPL
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment in assigned aisle or areas
- Assists with container off loading and any other warehouse duties
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Contributes to department teamwork by demonstrating strong time and attendance records, especially during month-end
- Records personal daily punches and approves accurate bi-weekly time and attendance records
- Actively participates in all one-on-one and group meetings
- Promotes our FOH® Culture in all interaction
Education, Experience & Computer Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1+ years’ experience in warehouse, QC or related environment
- Experience with Warehouse Management System, SAP B1, and handheld devices
- Basic Knowledge in all Microsoft Applications, Outlook
- Familiar with WMS, SAP Business One

The team member must regularly lift and/or move and/or push up to 80 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to tolerate conditions associated with no air conditioning or heat.

The salary/hourly range for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions, including, but not limited to, work experience, territory, geographical location, etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
