The work
The Senior SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining operating systems and related software. This role establishes and implements standards for computer operations to ensure compatibility between hardware and software according to defined specifications and parameters. The Senior SAP Basis Administrator also leads troubleshooting efforts and supports system reliability across the environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve software, operating system, and networking issues
- Schedule, perform, and monitor system backups and, when necessary, conduct data recoveries
- Provide day‑to‑day technical support for all program applications
- Support budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning activities
- Manage a team, including mentoring and training junior members
Here’s what you need:
- 7+ years SAP Basis experience
- Experience architecting SAP High Availability and administering SAP Basis in a classified environment
- Relevant SAP certifications
Eligibility requirements:
- US Citizens only (no dual citizenship)
- Must be eligible to obtain at least a Secret Clearance
- Must live local to St. Louis, MO or be willing to travel to St. Louis weekly

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:
$124,000—$246,400 USD
