Senior Accountant

Job Description

• Perform day-to-day general accounting activities, including accounts payable / receivable, fixed assets and general ledger maintenance
• Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure they are done in a timely manner and in accordance with the accounting policy
• Perform month end closing activities.
• Perform Balance sheet reconciliations, including accounts payable / receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
• Provide support in auditing and year end close process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to insure timely and accurate month closing
• Prepare internal and external reports, statistical reports and participate in preparation of tax compliance processes.
• Other accounting tasks

Qualifications

• At least 1-3 years of previous work experience as an accountant.
• Higher education degree in Finance/Accounting or other relevant fields.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Lithuanian tax and accounting regulations.
• Oral and written knowledge of English.
• Navision experience would be a great advantage.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Solution oriented, problem-solving skills.
• Teamwork and co-operation skills in a multi-cultural organization.
