We’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer who still loves being hands-on. This is a role for someone who can bring strong technical judgement and ownership, while remaining actively involved in designing, building, deploying and supporting data solutions.
As part of Titan Wealth’s Group Data & Analytics team, you’ll work across the full engineering lifecycle, building and maintaining secure and scalable data platforms, databases, integrations and data pipelines using Microsoft Azure technologies. You’ll have real ownership of solutions from initial design through to deployment, operational support and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable, secure and resilient data platforms on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop and support solutions on SQL Server, Azure SQL Managed Instance and related data services.
- Contribute to the design and optimisation of data platform architecture.
- Support database deployment, release management and environment promotion processes.
- Ensure solutions align with engineering standards, operational requirements and best practices.
- Design, develop and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
- Develop integrations with internal systems, third-party platforms, APIs and file-based interfaces.
- Build reusable data ingestion and processing frameworks to improve delivery efficiency.
- Implement and support batch and near real-time data processing solutions.
- Investigate and resolve data integration and pipeline failures.
- Design and maintain relational and dimensional data models to support reporting and analytical requirements.
- Develop and optimise stored procedures, views, ETL processes and database objects.
- Implement data validation, reconciliation and quality control processes.
- Identify and address database performance and optimisation opportunities.
- Work within source-controlled development processes using Git and Azure DevOps.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines for database and data platform solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and engineering quality assurance processes.
- Develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and platform reliability.
- Contribute to engineering standards, patterns and best practices.
- Implement controls supporting data quality, security and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Support data lineage, auditing and traceability across the data platform.
- Apply secure development practices and least-privilege access principles.
- Ensure solutions comply with Titan Wealth governance, security and data protection standards.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, architects and engineering teams.
- Participate in Agile delivery processes and ceremonies.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing initiatives.
- Remain current with emerging Azure, SQL Server and data engineering technologies.

Critical Skills and Experience required
- Strong SQL Server and T-SQL development and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience developing and supporting Azure Data Factory solutions.
- Experience working with Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure SQL Database and SQL Server.
- Experience designing and supporting ETL/ELT and enterprise data integration solutions.
- Strong understanding of relational database design and dimensional modelling.
- Experience integrating with APIs, file-based interfaces and third-party systems.
- Experience using Git, Azure DevOps and CI/CD deployment processes.
- Experience supporting and operating production data platforms.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications (Essential & Desirable)
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in a numerate or analytical subject.
- Certifications in Power BI, Azure, or SQL are advantageous but not essential.
