This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Associate Technical Consultant – VCF based in India.

Join a collaborative technical team delivering next-generation data center and hybrid cloud solutions for enterprise customers. As a Senior Associate Technical Consultant specializing in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), you will contribute to the design, implementation, upgrades, and migration of modern software-defined data center architectures. You will work across core virtualization, networking, storage, lifecycle management, and cloud operations technologies to deliver secure, scalable, and well-documented solutions. Partnering with senior consultants and project leaders, you will help translate technical requirements into effective business outcomes. You will also engage with customers through workshops, demonstrations, and technical discussions. This role offers opportunities to deepen your expertise, pursue professional certifications, and contribute to complex enterprise infrastructure projects.

Accountabilities:

As part of the technical consulting team, you will support the successful delivery of VMware Cloud Foundation solutions while maintaining high standards of technical quality, documentation, and customer engagement. Your responsibilities will include:

Participate in the design, configuration, integration, and deployment of VMware Cloud Foundation solutions, including SDDC Manager, vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX, and Aria Suite components.
Support the implementation, upgrade, and migration of VCF-based architectures, helping ensure reliable and efficient deployment outcomes.
Contribute to architecture design, technical deliverables, and comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Integrate VCF solutions with third-party technologies, including backup, monitoring, and automation platforms.
Participate in customer workshops, demonstrations, and working sessions, explaining technical concepts and solution benefits to technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with senior team members, project leaders, and other stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and support successful project delivery.
Share technical knowledge and best practices with colleagues to strengthen team capabilities and improve implementation quality.
Maintain relevant VMware certifications and stay informed about emerging technologies, industry developments, and best practices related to VCF implementations.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong VMware infrastructure expertise, practical implementation experience, and the ability to contribute effectively in customer-facing consulting environments. The following qualifications and skills are expected:

At least 5 years of technical experience working with VMware technologies and supporting infrastructure solutions.
Demonstrated experience implementing, upgrading, and migrating VMware Cloud Foundation environments, particularly VCF 5 and/or VCF 9.
Proficiency in at least three of the following technologies: vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria Suite, and HCX.
Practical experience integrating VCF solutions with third-party tools, such as backup, monitoring, and automation platforms.
Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
Sound analytical and troubleshooting abilities, including the capacity to assess moderate to complex technical issues and provide in-depth analysis when required.
A proactive, self-directed approach to work, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality technical solutions.

The following qualifications and experience would be advantageous:

Previous experience in technical consulting or other customer-facing roles.
Hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation 9.
An active VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) certification, preferably related to VCF 9.
A Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.), or an equivalent degree.
