Senior Consultant - Project Lead / Manager

Job Description

The Senior Consultant / Project Lead is responsible for leading the technical design, development, and delivery of software solutions while ensuring alignment with client requirements and business objectives. The role combines strong technical expertise with project leadership, client engagement, and team coordination. It involves overseeing project activities, guiding technical teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and contributing to the continuous development of the company's technical capabilities and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and contribute to the successful delivery of one or more projects simultaneously.
• Design, develop, and maintain clean, scalable, high-performance, and maintainable code.
• Develop and support software solutions, including applications, database integrations, interfaces, and enhancements to existing functionality.
• Advise clients on software architecture, technical solution design, and implementation approaches.
• Lead client engagements and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet business objectives, quality standards, and applicable compliance requirements.
• Plan, organize, and monitor project activities, ensuring effective resource allocation, realistic effort estimates, and adherence to agreed timelines.
• Guide and support project teams, applying appropriate delivery methodologies in line with client expectations.
• Conduct and participate in code reviews, promoting technical excellence, coding standards, and development best practices.
• Oversee and support the testing, deployment, and implementation of new products, solutions, and features.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert and technical reference for consultants and managers within the relevant area of expertise.
• Contribute to internal training, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Continuously strengthen technical and professional expertise and stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry developments.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of professional experience in software development, with proven experience in delivering complex software solutions.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design principles, development methodologies, and best practices.
• Proven experience in project management, including planning, effort estimation, resource coordination, and delivery monitoring.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide teams, manage priorities, and foster collaboration.
• Excellent client-facing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in both English and French, written and spoken.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile/Scrum.
• Ability and willingness to travel for business purposes when required.
• Knowledge of Salesforce is an advantage; relevant Salesforce certifications are a plus.
