We at Coforge are hiring Senior DevOps Engineer (#17219-1-3) with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS using services such as EKS, EC2, IAM, VPC, ALB/NLB, Route 53, S3, RDS/Aurora, and CloudWatch.

  • Manage Kubernetes environments, containerized workloads, Docker images, registries, and ECR while ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins, and automate infrastructure provisioning through Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure across Linux, networking, security, observability, .NET, and Java environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Senior-level experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including EKS, EC2, IAM, VPC, ALB/NLB, Route 53, ACM, S3, RDS/Aurora, and CloudWatch.

  • Strong Kubernetes knowledge, including Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, HPA, Jobs/CronJobs, RBAC, and troubleshooting.

  • Experience with Docker, image creation and optimization, container registries, and Amazon ECR.

  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

  • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills, including Bash, systemd, networking, processes, permissions, and filesystems.

  • Solid networking and security knowledge, including DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, proxies, load balancers, routing, NAT, IAM, and least-privilege principles.

  • Experience with observability practices covering logs, metrics, traces, and alerts using CloudWatch and tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.

  • B2+ English proficiency and scripting experience with Bash and Python.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Terragrunt, CloudFormation, and/or AWS CDK.

  • Understanding of .NET build and deployment processes, including NuGet, configuration, migrations, runtime/SDK management, and deployment troubleshooting.

  • Knowledge of Java environments, including Maven/Gradle, JDK/JRE, Spring Boot, JVM fundamentals, and troubleshooting.

  • Experience with Git branching strategies, pull requests, tags/releases, and conflict resolution.

  • PowerShell scripting experience.
