About the role
As a Senior Digital Transformation Manager, you will deliver complex digital initiatives that enhance the airport’s operations and improve corporate productivity and passenger experience. You’ll help drive Heathrow’s vision to become a more digitally integrated airport, ensuring that technology, data, and AI solutions deliver measurable business outcomes.
The Digital Transformation is recently established – this is your chance to enter in a senior role within the team and be involved in the growth of the programme.
- Delivering a portfolio of digital products and services aligned to Heathrow’s Digital Strategic Roadmap.
- Orchestrating end-to-end delivery of digital initiatives – from early scope shaping through go-live – ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within scope, and budget.
- Leading multi-disciplinary teams across technology, data, and business change (including third-party delivery partners and suppliers) in a cohesive and collaborative delivery model.
- Applying agile principles pragmatically to drive outcome-oriented delivery with a test-and-learn mindset.
- Providing clear reporting and escalation to senior stakeholders, taking ownership of blockers and ensuring pace in delivery.
- Engaging with a broad range of senior stakeholders at Heathrow – including the airport itself and our wider stakeholder ecosystem, such as airlines – to understand needs, shape demand, and coordinate delivery.
- Experience delivering digital products and services in complex organisational environments.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale digital or transformation projects across multiple business functions.
- Strong understanding of agile delivery methods, ideally within a SAFe Agile environment.
- Ability to balance agility with governance and control in fast-paced delivery settings.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at senior levels.
- Commercial awareness, including supplier management and budget oversight.
Ideally you’ll also have
- Experience in regulated or aviation environments.
- Background in large infrastructure or asset-intensive organisations.
