About the role

About the job

Google Cloud is one of the fastest-growing enterprise businesses in the industry. As the Senior Manager, Cloud Controllership, you will be a key leader in the Cloud Controllership organization, responsible for safeguarding financial integrity, driving non-revenue accounting operations, and scaling emerging processes for Google Cloud.

In this role, you will lead end-to-end accounting and controllership across complex operational domains, including Leases (ASC 842), Sales Commissions and Incentives (ASC 340-40), and strategic M&A integrations, etc.

You will oversee monthly and quarterly close cycles for the related processes, maintain a robust internal controls environment (SOx), and partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders in Cloud FP&A, Corporate Accounting, Operations, and external audit teams.

Additionally, you will advocate for finance modernization - driving automation, dismantling manual work loops, adopting AI-enabled workflows, and building a high-performing team.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
