Who Are We Looking For?
The Senior Manager Dynamics 365 is the platform owner and delivery lead for Mobiz's Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem spanning Dynamics 365 CRM (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service) and Dynamics 365 Business Central (ERP). This role is accountable for platform health, configuration governance, integrations, user adoption, and the operational workflows that drive Mobiz's revenue, service delivery, and financial operations.
The Senior Manager operates at the intersection of business process and technical architecture capable of configuring a CRM pipeline stage, governing a Business Central AP automation workflow, and presenting a quarterly platform roadmap to Mobiz leadership. The ideal candidate combines deep Dynamics functional expertise, hands-on Power Platform experience, and a track record of driving measurable business outcomes through well-governed Microsoft business applications.
Key Responsibilities
1. CRM Operations & Sales Enablement
- Own Dynamics 365 Sales as the platform of record for Mobiz's revenue pipeline — configure entities, opportunity stages, product catalog, quote workflows, and MEDDICC scoring fields aligned to the Mobiz CRO methodology.
- Govern pipeline data quality; enforce completeness rules on opportunity records (close date, stage, weighted value, MEDDICC fields) and publish weekly CRM health dashboards to the CRO.
- Configure and maintain Customer Service and Field Service modules to support Mobiz's MSP delivery workflows — case routing, SLA timers, entitlement management, and resource scheduling.
- Build and maintain Power Automate flows for lead-to-opportunity handoffs, contract renewal alerts, quote approval routing, and Dynamics-to-ServiceNow ticket creation.
- Administer the Dynamics 365 Sales mobile experience and Outlook integration (Dynamics 365 App for Outlook) to maximize seller adoption across North America, KSA, and remote regions.
- Partner with the CRO and sales leadership to translate commercial requirements into CRM configuration — new pipeline stages, custom dashboards, forecast roll-up views, and territory models.
2. ERP & Financial Operations — Business Central
- Own Dynamics 365 Business Central as Mobiz's ERP — administer chart of accounts, dimensions, fiscal periods, approval workflows, and financial reporting structures across all legal entities.
- Govern the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable cycles within Business Central: purchase invoice workflows, vendor ledger management, payment runs (ACH, check, international wire), customer invoicing, and collections aging.
- Maintain the Business Central job costing module for professional services engagements — project setup, resource time entry alignment, WIP calculations, and revenue recognition.
- Administer payroll journal imports, intercompany transactions, and multi-currency reconciliations in coordination with the Finance and Accounting team.
- Build and maintain Business Central Power BI reports and financial dashboards consumed by the CFO, FP&A, and department heads.
- Lead Business Central upgrades, hotfix deployments, and extension/app evaluations; manage the relationship with the Microsoft-certified Business Central partner for escalations.
3. Platform Administration & Configuration
- Administer all Dynamics 365 environments (Production, UAT, Sandbox) across the Power Platform tenant — manage solutions, publisher prefixes, managed vs. unmanaged layers, and ALM pipelines via Azure DevOps.
- Define and enforce security role architecture across CRM and Business Central: user provisioning, permission sets, team hierarchies, and business unit structure.
- Own the customization backlog — evaluate, prioritize, and deliver entity/form/view/workflow changes using the Mobiz change governance process (ServiceNow RITM → UAT → CAB → Production).
- Maintain environment health: monitor API limits, storage capacity, plugin trace logs, and Power Platform CoE metrics; proactively address degradation before business impact.
- Govern the Dataverse schema — manage tables, relationships, column data types, and audit settings; enforce naming conventions and metadata standards.
4. Integration & Data Management
- Own the integration layer between Dynamics 365 CRM, Business Central, ServiceNow, and Microsoft 365 — design, build, and operate flows using Power Automate, Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management), and Dataverse connectors.
- Maintain the Dynamics–ServiceNow bidirectional integration: opportunity-to-project creation, timecard sync to CRM cost objects, and incident-to-case handoffs.
- Govern master data management across systems — customer/account records, vendor master, employee records, and product catalog — enforcing deduplication rules and golden record standards.
- Build and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines or Dataflows for reporting-layer ETL from Dynamics to the Mobiz analytics environment (Power BI, Fabric).
- Ensure data residency and sovereignty requirements are met for Dynamics environments serving KSA clients (Microsoft Cloud for Sovereignty, NCA ECC alignment).
5. User Adoption & Training
- Drive end-user adoption across Sales, Finance, Operations, and HR functions — develop training content, conduct onboarding sessions, and maintain a Dynamics knowledge base in SharePoint.
- Serve as the Tier 2 Dynamics support escalation point; own the Dynamics support queue in ServiceNow and resolve configuration-level issues within agreed SLAs.
- Establish and chair a Dynamics 365 User Group — monthly sessions covering platform updates, new feature rollouts, and process improvement ideas sourced from business users.
- Produce and distribute monthly Platform Health Reports to stakeholders: usage analytics, adoption KPIs, open issues, and upcoming release highlights.
6. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Dynamics 365 administrators, functional consultants, and Power Platform developers - set clear goals, conduct structured 1:1s, and build individual development plans with certification milestones.
- Define team capacity and skill coverage across CRM, Business Central, and Power Platform disciplines; identify gaps and drive recruitment, upskilling, or partner augmentation as needed.
- Establish and enforce team delivery standards: change governance process, peer review of customizations, documentation requirements, and ALM pipeline discipline.
- Build a high-performance team culture rooted in business accountability - every configuration decision tied to a measurable business outcome, not just a technical requirement.
- Conduct performance reviews and skills assessments aligned to Mobiz's engineer tiering framework; address performance gaps with structured coaching plans.
- Serve as the escalation authority for the Dynamics team on cross-functional conflicts, resourcing disputes, and prioritization decisions - protect team focus and prevent scope creep.
- Represent the Business Applications team in Mobiz leadership forums; advocate for headcount, tooling investment, and platform roadmap funding based on quantified business impact.
7. Governance, Compliance & Roadmap
- Maintain a rolling 12-month Dynamics 365 platform roadmap aligned to Mobiz business priorities — CRM maturity, Business Central module expansion, Power Platform CoE, and AI/Copilot adoption.
- Lead the assessment and rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Copilot capabilities (Sales Copilot, Business Central Copilot) as they become available, quantifying adoption impact for leadership.
- Ensure Dynamics environments comply with Mobiz security policies, Microsoft GDPR data processing commitments, and audit evidence requirements for SOC 2 / ISO 27001 reviews.
- Represent the Business Applications function in CAB, architecture review boards, and quarterly technology steering sessions.
- Manage vendor relationships with Microsoft (CSP/licensing, FastTrack, support), ISV partners, and implementation consultants; own contract renewals and licensing optimization.

- Demonstrated ability to integrate Dynamics 365 with external platforms (ServiceNow, Azure, M365, third-party ERP/ITSM tools) using Power Automate, Logic Apps, or Dataverse connectors.
