HK$97,787 to HK$116,855 (HGPS point 34 to 39) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. | |
Key Responsibilities: | |

1.
| Assist Department Manager in departmental operational policies development, service planning, risk management, training & development plans, and quality improvement. |
2. | Plan and coordinate technological development to meet service needs. |
3. | Take charge of a clinical laboratory. |
4. | Co-ordinate responsibilities among section supervisors in the division. |
5. | Supervise the daily operation of the laboratory providing Chemical Pathology services. |
6. | Attend hospital and departmental meetings. |
7. | Participate in the daily Chemical Pathology services. |
8. | Prepare the laboratory to attain accreditation |
9. | Carry out laboratory managerial duties including human resources management, budgetary planning and procurement. |
10. | Plan and monitor new services. |
11. | Evaluate new methodologies and instruments. |
12. | Train medical laboratory technical staff. |
