About the role
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Meta Ads & Client Success Manager based in Australia.
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Meta Ads specialist to manage and scale paid advertising campaigns for Australian clients. This is an exciting opportunity to combine performance marketing expertise with strategic client relationship management in a growing digital agency. You will take ownership of multiple advertising accounts, developing data-driven lead-generation strategies that deliver measurable business results. From campaign planning and budget allocation to creative testing and performance optimisation, you will play a key role in maximising ROI and reducing customer acquisition costs. Working closely with clients, you will translate campaign insights into actionable recommendations while building long-term partnerships based on trust and performance. This fully remote position offers significant autonomy, direct business impact, and the opportunity to progress into a Head of Paid Media role.
Accountabilities:
- Manage, monitor, and optimise multiple Meta advertising campaigns across different client accounts, ensuring strong performance and alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and implement effective lead-generation strategies focused on attracting qualified enquiries, increasing conversions, and maximising return on investment.
- Take ownership of advertising budgets, ensuring efficient allocation, ongoing optimisation, and strategic scaling of successful campaigns.
- Manage campaign tracking and measurement using Meta Ads Manager, Meta Pixel, and Conversions API to ensure accurate performance monitoring.
- Design and execute creative testing strategies, analysing different ad formats, messaging, and approaches to identify the most effective combinations.
- Monitor key performance indicators, including cost per lead, customer acquisition costs, conversion rates, and ROI, identifying opportunities to improve campaign efficiency.
- Analyse advertising data and transform performance insights into practical optimisation strategies and recommendations.
- Communicate campaign results, progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations clearly and regularly to clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, transparency, and consistent delivery against agreed objectives.
- Take full accountability for campaign performance and client outcomes, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions independently.
- Collaborate with the wider team to improve marketing strategies, strengthen service delivery, and contribute to the agency's continued growth.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing and optimising Meta Ads campaigns.
- Previous experience managing multiple advertising accounts simultaneously, preferably within a digital marketing or performance marketing agency.
- Proven track record of generating qualified leads, improving advertising performance, reducing customer acquisition costs, and increasing ROI.
- Strong practical knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Meta Pixel, Conversions API, campaign tracking, and performance optimisation.
- Experience managing substantial advertising budgets, allocating spend strategically, and scaling profitable campaigns.
- Ability to develop and implement creative testing strategies, using campaign data to guide decisions and improve results.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex campaign metrics and translate them into actionable business recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with experience working directly with Australian or UK-based clients.
- Strong client relationship management skills, including the ability to manage expectations, communicate performance insights, and build long-term partnerships.
- Commercial mindset with a strong understanding of lead generation, customer acquisition, profitability, and measurable business outcomes.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and problem-solving ability, with the confidence to make independent decisions.
- Comfortable working remotely while maintaining sufficient working-hour overlap with clients and teams based in Sydney, Australia.
- Experience generating leads for professional services, healthcare, legal services, or trades-related businesses.
- Previous experience working in a digital marketing or performance advertising agency.
- Experience managing campaigns across different industries and client business models.
- Leadership potential and an interest in developing towards a Head of Paid Media position.
- Fully Remote Work: Enjoy the flexibility of working remotely from Australia.
- Competitive Compensation: Receive a monthly salary through a B2B contract arrangement.
- Career Development: Access opportunities to expand your responsibilities and progress professionally within a growing digital agency.

- Direct Business Impact: Take ownership of advertising performance and contribute meaningfully to client success and overall agency growth.
- Professional Autonomy: Manage campaigns, make strategic decisions, and implement performance improvements with a high level of responsibility.
- Client Portfolio Exposure: Work with multiple Australian clients across different business sectors, strengthening your performance marketing and client management expertise.
