About the role
Great Salespeople Create Opportunities and Close Deals.
At Aardvark Studios, we're looking for experienced sales professionals who love building relationships, developing new business, and turning ambitious ideas into reality.
This isn't a position for someone who's just getting started in sales. We're looking for proven performers who know the experiential marketing industry, have established relationships, and have a demonstrated history of winning business.
You'll have the opportunity to work with leading brands and agencies, backed by a talented team with the creative, technical, fabrication, and production capabilities to bring extraordinary experiences to life.
We're looking for people who are hungry to win, aren't afraid to pick up the phone, take ownership of their opportunities, and get genuinely excited about turning a client's vision into a successful project.
What You'll Own
- Develop new business with experiential marketing agencies, brands, and other organizations through existing relationships, cold calling, networking, and proactive prospecting.
- Leverage your established industry relationships to generate opportunities while actively developing new connections and expanding your network.
- Own the entire sales process, from qualifying company-provided and self-generated leads through proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
- Listen to clients, understand their objectives, budgets, and challenges, and work with our internal teams to develop creative, practical solutions.
- Prepare and manage project estimates, budgets, proposals, and statements of work (SOWs), collaborating with estimating, creative, fabrication, and operations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships that generate repeat business, referrals, and long-term opportunities.
- Negotiate and close profitable projects while setting clear expectations and ensuring a smooth transition to our operations team.
- Maintain an organized pipeline, accurate CRM records, and consistent communication with sales leadership.
- Take ownership of your performance, follow through on commitments, and consistently deliver results.
Who We're Looking For
- Deep experiential marketing industry experience is required, specifically selling experiential activations, custom fabrication, or related production services.
- 7+ years of successful sales experience with a proven track record of generating new business and closing substantial projects.
- An established network of agency and brand relationships, with the ability to leverage those connections to develop new opportunities.
- A genuine hunter mentality. You're comfortable cold calling, prospecting, opening doors, and pursuing opportunities rather than waiting for business to come to you.
- Demonstrated success personally developing and closing business. You can speak confidently and specifically about your accomplishments.
- Strong understanding of experiential marketing projects, including estimating, budgeting, fabrication, production, and execution.
- The ability to translate a client's vision into a compelling proposal, realistic budget, and clearly defined scope of work.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong business judgment, attention to detail, and an understanding of profitability.
- A proactive, resourceful professional who works independently, collaborates effectively, and takes responsibility for results.
Above all, we value people with grit, integrity, empathy, sound judgment, and an unwavering commitment to doing what's right for our employees and customers.
Why Aardvark?

This is an opportunity for an experienced salesperson who loves the thrill of winning business, enjoys the creative process, and wants to be part of a growing company where hard work, initiative, and results are recognized and rewarded.
