Senior Solution Architect

Job Description

In this position, you will:

• Create and document logical architecture designs for solutions with low to medium architectural impact;
• Design and specify APIs;
• Analyse business requirements and ensure their alignment with EDP’s reference application architecture;
• Produce clear and consistent architecture documentation, aligned with governance requirements;
• Communicate security, application architecture, and technology architecture guidelines;
• Promote the adoption of architecture standards and best practices across different teams;
• Collaborate with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams, with a strong focus on quality and delivery.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• Up to 10 years of relevant experience;
• A degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• Solid knowledge of architecture and its associated documentation and artefacts;
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills;
• Clear written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and international environment;
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory;
• A certification in architecture, Microsoft technologies, Cloud, or an equivalent area.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities sector and GDPR;
• Experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence;
• Project experience;
• Proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish.
