Sewing Machine Operator

STAR is currently seeking a Sewing Machine Operator. Continuous growth has created an opportunity in our Minneapolis office, and we are looking for the right person to join our team! If you have Sewing experience and thrive in a fast paced, detail orientated environment, we’d like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Properly read and interpret work orders for production.
  
• Operate industrial sewing machines.
• Comply with all safety standards for sewing machine operation.
• Monitors machine operation and report problems.
• Understand requirements of the Sewing Department and produce quality work on a consistent basis.
• Understand and follow S.O.P.’s regarding work order routing.
• All other responsibilities assigned

Experience:

• Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role preferred
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Basic understanding of sewing machine mechanics and troubleshooting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Skilled in multi-tasking and working in fast paced environments
