Department Overview

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional product development for embedded connected devices in Penang. This role sits right at the intersection of Agile software development and hardware New Product Introduction (NPI). If you have a strong background in software SDLC, experience managing complex project timelines, and know how to work across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams, we want to hear from you.

Job Description

• Program Management: Drive product development from initiation to production release. Build and track master schedules, manage program budgets, and handle scope changes.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Connect the dots between software, hardware engineering, and supply chain/manufacturing teams to resolve blockers and manage dependencies.
• Agile Execution: Lead sprint planning, release tracking, and project delivery using Jira, Scrum, and standard Agile frameworks.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear weekly status updates on program health, budget, and risks to senior management.
• Risk & Quality Control: Identify technical and schedule risks early, set up mitigation plans, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.

Basic Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience:7+ years of total experience in product or solutions development.3+ years in a dedicated Program Management role.
• Technical & Tools: Practical experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira, and complex schedule management.
• Core Skills: Strong communication skills and proven ability to lead matrixed engineering teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with embedded systems, mobile/voice-enabled devices, or IoT products.
• Hands-on exposure to NPI and manufacturing/supply chain processes.
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and software architecture.
• PMP Certification.
