Specialist, Research Business Support

Key Accountabilities

• Research Production & Quality Assurance: Ensure the accurate, timely, and consistent formatting of all research publications.

• Database Integrity: Maintain and manage research databases, ensuring all data is up-to-date and reliable.

• Analyst Support: Provide robust support to research analysts in information collection and quantitative analysis to facilitate sound investment insights.

• System Administration: Manage the Analec Research Support Module, ensuring system stability, updates, and user profile management.

• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary contact for data providers to ensure all research requirements are met effectively.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

1. Information Collection: Assist research analysts by sourcing industry and company-specific information from diverse platforms, including the Internet, Bloomberg, Datastream, and Reuters.

2. System Administration: Support, maintain, and manage the Analec Research Support Module. Perform critical system administration tasks, including applying patches, managing updates, and setting up user and instrument profiles.

3. Editorial Standards: Work closely with the research team to ensure all publications adhere to high standards of quality, accuracy, and consistent formatting.

4. Distribution Management: Manage the maintenance and distribution of research publications to both internal and external customers, ensuring timely delivery.

5. Database & Supplier Liaison: Oversee database maintenance and serve as the main point of contact for external data suppliers (e.g., Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters) to manage and fulfill ongoing data and research requirements.
