ASCEND: Accounting Student Career Exploration & Networking Day

ASCEND is an immersive experience designed for accounting students interested in exploring careers in public accounting and professional services. This one-day program provides participants with opportunities to learn, connect, and grow alongside experienced professionals while gaining valuable insight into the accounting profession.

The ASCEND (Accounting Student Career Exploration & Networking Day) program will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2027, at our Roseville, Minnesota office.

Program Highlights

During this interactive experience, students will have the opportunity to:

• Participate in a professional panel featuring team members from intern to partner and representing all areas of the firm
• Gain firsthand insight into career paths, professional growth opportunities, and day-to-day experiences in public accounting
• Learn about traditional and non-traditional career opportunities within the accounting profession
• Engage in meaningful networking opportunities with firm professionals and fellow student participants throughout the day
• Participate in a volunteer and community service activity alongside firm team members
• Build professional skills through conversations centered on career development, leadership, and relationship building
• Experience our firm's culture, values, and commitment to community involvement

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for participation in ASCEND, students must:

• Be pursuing a degree in accounting or a related field with a focus in accounting
• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25
