Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift
On-Call: One night per week after shift and one weekend per month
On-Call Response: Must be within 30 minutes of the facility during on-call hours

POSITION SUMMARY
Heartline Staffing is recruiting Surgical Technologists for full-time day-shift positions in Beckley, West Virginia.
The main Operating Room has seven fully equipped procedure rooms and supports inpatient and outpatient surgical care. Surgical specialties include orthopedics, trauma, spine, general surgery, gynecology, vascular, urology, and Da Vinci robotic procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Establish and maintain the sterile field while following infection-prevention and safety practices.
• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Anticipate surgeons' needs and pass instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures.
• Complete surgical counts and maintain organization throughout each case.
• Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and draping within scope of practice.
• Handle surgical specimens and supplies according to established procedures.
• Turn over and prepare operating rooms between cases.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia professionals, and the perioperative team.
• Respond to changing patient and procedural needs.
• Maintain teamwork, precision, and attention to patient safety during surgical cases.
Requirements
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS
• Completed a Surgical Technologist course. REQUIRED
• High school diploma. REQUIRED
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification. REQUIRED
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• State Registered Nursing Assistant (SRNA) certification or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
• Three to four years of experience in a surgical setting.
ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Available for Monday-Friday day-shift scheduling.
• Available for on-call duty one night per week after shift and one weekend per month.
• Must be within 30 minutes of the facility during on-call hours.
