What You Should Know About the Team Leader- Nutritional Services:

• Typical hours are 11:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. Weekends and holidays possible.
• This position is based within Jefferson Regional Nutritional Services Department

Job Summary:

The Team Leader of Nutritional Services is responsible for ensuring the dietary needs of all residents. This position supervises, trains, and educates employees to ensure competency; continuously improve quality of nutritional services. Monitors to assure team members and self are performing job functions accurately. Responsible for accurate keeping of cash. Ensures proper procedures are followed-safe and cashier counting.

Team Leader- Nutritional Services Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Associate Degree in Nutrition, Food Services Management, or other related field preferred.
• Enrolled in an approved Dietary Manager Course and certification preferred.
• SerSafe Certification required.
• Certified Dietary Manager Certification preferred.
• This is a safety sensitive position. *
• Minimum Requirements:
  • One (1) year experience in team positions.
  • 2 years’ experience in commercial kitchen or retail.
  • Ability to solve problems and communicate with others.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • A customer service oriented approach to work, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Preferred Requirements:
  • At least 2 years in management position in healthcare or commercial kitchen
  • Culinary training is preferred
  • Experience in a healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and familiarity with food services software
