Business Justification
Customer Trust has become an increasingly important revenue-enablement function as Nutanix expands within highly regulated and security-sensitive industries. Customer security and compliance assessment volume increased from 34 assessments in 2024 to 72 assessments in 2025 and more than 175 assessments as of September 30 2026. Customer requests are also becoming more complex, particularly in areas such as cybersecurity, AI governance, privacy, supply-chain risk, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, the Nutanix Industrial Security Program and related compliance frameworks that are mandatory to maintain are critical to selling into the US Federal/defense and global defense customer base.
Customer Trust currently relies on a limited number of resources to support rapidly growing customer diligence demands including time sensitive sales transactions that directly result in revenue. This new role is being added to provide additional support for customer assurance, cybersecurity governance, the Nutanix industrial security program, and enabling the Customer Trust program to scale more effectively against our global growth in customers and regulatory requirements.
Without additional capacity, Nutanix risks continuing to address a growing strategic workload through reactive, person-dependent processes rather than through a scalable and appropriately governed Customer Trust program.
Why a New Role Is Needed
This role will:
Support complex and strategic customer diligence activities.
Improve the accuracy, consistency, and scalability of customer trust responses.
Scale, maintain and expand reusable customer trust assets and trust-center content and implement automation.
Increase the effectiveness of outsourced assessment support.
Provide deeper cybersecurity and GRC expertise for validating customer-facing security and compliance representations.
Help reduce transaction friction and support revenue-generating opportunities.
This is a new role created to provide additional capacity within the Customer Trust organization and to provide dedicated support for US Federal and global government sales as well as the Nutanix industrial security program. The role will have autonomy to accelerate automation and scalable customer practices using existing tools, and more efficient collaboration across cross-functional teams. It will also require experience with cybersecurity and compliance, independent judgment, program management, customer-facing assurance experience, and the ability to collaborate with the Customer Trust team to validate complex customer trust representations and supporting evidence.
