Lab Quality Technician Role and Responsibilities:

• Own and handle customer requested sample analysis report and other simple customer requests (pad analysis, quality data, etc)
• Support Product Quality Engineering team on product sample analysis, data mining and preliminary data compiling/analysis.
• Work with engineers on prioritizing work, record work, and write work report
• Manage customer issue/request work process database (Everest, CAMP) and assign issue/requests to team members according to organization role and responsibility
• Tracking group KPIs and report KPI data periodically as required to the team
• Provides technical expertise to PQE engineers for customers/internal stake holders in the areas of product quality related tasks, processing techniques and problem resolution.
• Work with engineers to prepare analysis reports under dynamic work priorities.
• Own and handle customer SQC report, and other simple customer requests (pad analysis, quality data, etc)
• Manage regular customer issue/request through work process in Everest, SAP and assign issue/requests to team members according to organization role and responsibility.
• Track, summarize, and report team KPIs periodically as required to the team
• Understands how related teams coordinate their efforts and resources to achieve broader objectives within the business/function.
• Works with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused on new, complex assignments.
• Impacts the effectiveness of own team and closely related teams.
• Provides solutions to problems in situations that are a typical or occur infrequently based on existing precedents or procedures.
• Tools commonly used: SPACE/stargate including CQR reports, JMP, Illuminator, database queries, excel/powerpoint

Key Attributes and Experience:

• 2-year min. industry experience on technician support, process operation, or related work
• Degrees in Chemistry, Chem E, Mech E, Materials Science/Engr or related engineering degree
• Understanding of semiconductor fabrication; CMP process knowledge is desirable
• Desirable global experience with strong interpersonal skills
• Experienced technical position requiring full proficiency in a range of technical processes or procedures through considerable training and on-the-job experience.
• Data analysis and technical reporting with 6 sigma concept.
• Good English communication/interpersonal skills
• Quality management skills, such as 8D methodology
• Familiar with basic quality control tests, and analytical methods, equipment and operations. Knowledge of operating SEM, FTIR or metrology tools is plus.
• Good team player and initiatives
• Trainable and willing to learn new things
