Teller Service Representative

Sharonview is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-driven Bilingual Teller Service Representative to join our dynamic team in Salisbury, NC! In this exciting role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact by providing outstanding service and support to our members.

What You'll Do:

• Process member and business financial transactions, including but not limited to issuing checks, processing deposits, withdrawals, wires, drafts, and other negotiable instruments.

• Respond to member inquiries regarding account operations, access to services, discrepancies, error resolution, and adjustments to service features across various accounts.

• Stay informed about all products, services, federal regulations, and internal policies/procedures relevant to the role.

• Engage with members in the lobby to foster relationships and identify opportunities to offer credit union products and services that meet their needs.

• Proactively engage in discussions with members to promote solutions that drive business goals such as deposit growth, new member acquisition, business services, and referrals.

• Calculate and explain deposit rates and APRs/APYs.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English/Spanish is required.
• A friendly, approachable personality.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Experience in financial services, retail, or customer service is a plus.
