Starwood Hotels purchasing and receiving life: It requires organization, reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves. We're currently looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Receiving Agent to join our culinary team. Reporting to the Executive Chef, this role is responsible for receiving and inspecting all incoming deliveries, organizing and storing products, maintaining accurate receiving records, and ensuring inventory is handled safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on position that requires frequent lifting, moving boxes, and supporting the daily operation of the hotel's receiving area.

 

About you...

• Previous receiving, warehouse, purchasing, or food & beverage experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift and move boxes/packages up to 45 pounds and stand for  extended periods.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to inspect deliveries, verify invoices, and report discrepancies.
• Works well independently while collaborating with the culinary team and vendors.
• Flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or receiving systems are a plus.

Temporary role from October-December. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday 7am-3pm, typically weekends and holidays off.

$31 per hour
