Working across product, technology, operational risk, credit risk, fraud, operations, accounting, servicing, data and analytics, compliance, and external partners, the Test Manager helps maintain clear accountability, appropriate coverage, traceable evidence, and transparent status throughout the testing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain the integrated test plan, scope, schedule, entry and exit criteria, and sign-off requirements for Unsecured Lending initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional test planning and execution across business, technology, risk, operations, data, compliance, vendors, and external partners.
• Partner with applicable stakeholders to translate product, policy, regulatory, operational, data, control, and technology requirements into clear test scenarios, expected outcomes, and evidence.
• Maintain traceability across requirements, scenarios, test data, execution results, defects, risks, decisions, evidence, and approvals.
• Coordinate end-to-end, system integration, user acceptance, regression, operational, reconciliation, production-readiness, and post-deployment validation based on initiative risk and complexity.
• Support the creation, conditioning, distribution, and tracking of test data and accounts required for scenario execution.
• Track ownership and readiness for test execution, environments, defect resolution, vendor validation, business approval, and release criteria.
• Maintain a consolidated view of defects, issues, dependencies, and testing risks; confirm ownership, monitor remediation and retesting, and escalate blockers.
• Facilitate readiness reviews, defect triage, dependency discussions, and status reporting, clearly communicating coverage, risks, decisions, approvals, and release confidence.
• Prepare testing-readiness assessments that identify unmet criteria, open risks, required remediation, residual exposure, and supporting evidence for release decisions.
• Confirm critical controls, operational procedures, support documentation, triage paths, test evidence, approvals, and decision records are complete before launch.
Experience and Skills
• 4+ years of experience in test management, quality assurance, product delivery, program management, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional testing across multiple systems, teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of integrated test planning, requirements traceability, test execution, defect lifecycle management, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and release-readiness governance.
• Ability to work with stakeholders to turn complex requirements into clear scenarios, ownership, sequencing, and measurable outcomes; assess risk; prioritize defects; and coordinate follow-through across matrixed teams.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder communication skills, including concise readiness reporting and clear escalation of risks and decisions.
• Experience working within Agile delivery models and using tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Excel, test-management platforms, and reporting dashboards.
• Experience in consumer lending, credit card, personal loans, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
• Working knowledge of credit decisioning, customer communications, servicing, accounting, data and reporting, third-party integrations, and operational controls.
Education and Certifications
