Help voters in North Carolina make informed decisions this election cycle! Efforts are ramping up and we are looking for a team of canvassers who believe that integrity and accountability matter this election. From now through Election Day, our team is connecting directly with voters at the polls during early voting and Election Day. We will be handing out literature educating voters on their ballot and encouraging North Carolinians to vote with their values.
The Justice Project seeks to educate voters through reliable information and help them make informed decisions in the voting booth. State Supreme Courts are often the final backstop for interpreting laws and upholding our rights.
We’ll be standing outside of polling locations talking to voters about the current State Supreme court race and will be encouraging them to vote for the candidates who prioritize survivors over perpetrators.
This role is a great opportunity to gain experience in the following areas: Leadership, Communication & Advocacy, Community Outreach & Engagement, Campaign Work, Public Policy, and Social Enterprise.
Get paid well! Canvassing positions start at $25/hour. Team Lead positions start at $27/hour. We offer overtime pay, driver bonuses, shift bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals. If you are a fluent bilingual speaker, you may earn an additional $1 per hour.
