Ticket Checker

The Sun Valley Ticket Checker is often one of the first team members to welcome guests to the mountain. This guest-facing role is responsible for scanning lift tickets and passes, answering questions, and helping manage lift lines to ensure a safe, smooth, and friendly guest experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner.
• Scan lift tickets and season passes to confirm validity.
• Redirect guests with invalid or missing passes to the nearest ticketing location.
• Monitor and maintain an organized, safe flow in lift lines.
• Provide resort information and answer guest questions with confidence and courtesy.
• Assist with other duties as assigned to support mountain operations.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to creating a positive guest experience.

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (snow, cold, wind, sun, etc.)

• Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching.

• Can regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• Flexibility to work varying a schedule, including weekends, holidays, and early or late shifts.

• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
