Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the forestry team to prepare land for planting.
- Utilize best practices with operating equipment for optimal productivity.
- Responsible for maintaining equipment by performing general maintenance.
- Work with safety in mind and wear appropriate PPE for task at hand.
- Follow strict company environmental rules and best management practices.
Qualifications:
- Education Required: Trade Certification an Asset
- Years of Experience Required: 1+ years of experience operating and preventative maintenance of a heavy piece of equipment preferred.
- Have reliable transportation
- Work schedule is 12 hour daily shifts during the week
- Ability to work 50-60 hours per week,
- Night shift operations.
- Willing to train the right person.
