Venue Supervisor - LyLo Queenstown | Part-time

Key Responsibilities
Design and run engaging guest activities and experiences in the Rooftop hangout on level 4, and offsite where needed, balancing guest enjoyment with commercial goals
Oversee daily venue operations, including ordering, stock control, reporting and controlling expenses within set targets
Lead the team by creating rosters, training and developing staff, and completing regular performance reviews
Ensure all liquor licensing laws, LyLo policies, safety procedures and incident reporting requirements are followed
Handle guest feedback and complaints with tact, urgency and genuine care, recording and reporting each one
Work at the front desk for part of each shift to welcome guests and promote Rooftop activities and EVT properties
What You'll Bring
Experience leading a team in a food and beverage, hospitality or guest activities setting
A strong understanding of liquor licensing requirements and a commitment to the safe service of alcohol
The ability to identify, analyse and resolve problems quickly
A guest focused, people focused approach with clear, caring and professional communication
Confidence building a sales culture through up-selling and on-selling
Working knowledge of venue IT systems and comfort learning reception duties
A willingness to manage change and challenge the norm
