The Wasserstrom Company is one of the top Food Service Equipment and Supply Distributors in the nation. Established in 1902, we are a family owned company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. We have an immediate opening for a Maintenance Associate at our Phoenix Distribution Center. If you like keeping equipment in prime running order this job is for you! The Maintenance Worker will maintain and repair building, equipment and machines in daily operation condition. As well as other duties assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The position will need general building maintenance and some production work requiring unloading or loading trucks as/if needed.
- Monitor forklifts, stock chasers and batteries for performance issues and repair if needed.
- Monitor performance of conveyor, tape machines and shredder and repair as needed; alerts management if higher level repairs are needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and building.
- Perform janitorial duties as required.
- Keep equipment and tools organized and in good condition.
Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or equivalent and two to four years related experience and/or training.
