About the role
Currently hiring experienced Welders Fabricators for a fabrication shop in New Albany, IN. This is a great opportunity for a Welder Fabricator with 3+ years of experience in a manufacurting setting. This position offers steady hours and the potential to transition into a permanent position.
Welder Fabricator Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work specifications.
- Fabricate and weld metal components according to specifications.
- Set up and safely operate fabrication and welding equipment.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and STICK processes as required.
- Measure and inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and production requirements.
Welder Fabricator Qualifications
- Previous welding and/or metal fabrication experience required.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
