About the role
Puyallup Tribal Members:
This program provides 480 hours of full-time/part-time employment to Puyallup Tribal Members, minimum 18 years of age, paid at the recognized minimum wage. During this time, members will be developing job skills and employment history to help improve their eligibility for permanent full-time jobs within the Tribe or other Tribal entities. Please be advised, this is only Part 1 of 3 packets that must be completed prior to establishing a job placement. The full application can be picked up at the WFD Program office or by request at Human Resources. The WFD Program Manager will contact you after you apply and please reach out directly to the program for general inquiries.
Native American preference applies and job placements are given on a competitive basis, using job related factors. Because of the large number of applications received and limited job positions, your application will not guarantee employment.
The Puyallup Tribe of Indians is committed to protecting and exercising the inherent inalienable sovereign rights of the Tribe and Individuals in the interest of the Medicine Creek Treat Territories, as stewards to ensure preservation of our cultural and environmental integrity for common good and prosperity for all.
