Yard Laborer / Equipment Operator

Weinberger Waste Disposal, a Waste Connections Company, is looking for a dependable, safety-conscious Laborer / Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team in Gilbert, AZ.

Now Offering a $2,500 stay on bonus!

Starting Pay: $20.00 Per hour

Schedule: M-F with Rotating Saturdays (Day shift)

Start time: 5:00am

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, staying active, and being part of a team that keeps the operation running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Operate skid steers and assist with daily yard operations

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the property

• Repair fencing, enclosed walls, and other property damage

• Assemble, repair, and wash trash and recycling containers

• Perform general yard cleanup and maintenance

• Assist with the cleanup of hazardous spills using required safety procedures

• Communicate equipment, property, and repair needs to management

• Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards

• Assist managers and team members with additional duties as needed

Tools are provided.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid driver's license

• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English

• Comfortable operating or learning to operate a skid steer

• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift

• Ability to lift, push, or pull more than 50 pounds

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Strong focus on safety, dependability, and teamwork
