· Enter Material Review Board (MRB) training to achieve required certification required to develop and release timely, cost-effective and technically sound repair dispositions for nonconforming product.
· Collaborate with and inform Manufacturing and Quality team members regarding engineering requirements and methodologies to solve problems, increase production efficiencies, reduce cycle times, prevent errors and achieve first-time quality product deliveries to our customers.
· Additionally, as your career progresses, anticipate:
· Facilitating communication between other Engineering disciplines, Manufacturing, Quality and Suppliers relative to repair designs and resolution of engineering-related production problems.
· Driving identified defective, damaged, non-conforming or malfunctioning parts, assemblies, systems, or equipment back to the source through documented Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) methodologies to prevent recurrence.
