About the role
Cedar Crest College seeks adjunct faculty members to teach in the Master of Arts in Art Therapy and Counseling program. Courses meet in the evening and are in-person and/or synchronously online.
The MAATC program is a distinctive studio-based program that prepares enthusiastic individuals for a career that incorporates a passion for art with compassion for people. Cedar Crest College’s MAATC program provides students with the education and experience needed to apply for registration as an art therapist (ATR), to sit for the Art Therapy Credentialing Board Examination (ATCBE) and to work towards their Board Certification as an art therapist (ATR-BC). Additionally, our students are prepared with the education needed to apply for the Professional Counseling License (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania and other qualifying states.
Qualifications
Applicants from anywhere in the United States are welcome to apply. Adjunct faculty are required to hold a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy, be credentialed as an ATR-BC, and to have a minimum of three years professional experience. Prior experience teaching at the college level is strongly preferred. Courses are taught on campus and virtually.
