About the role
As a Cruise Manager at AYANA Komodo, you will be responsible for overseeing cruise and boat operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and seamless activities while delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will lead and coordinate the cruise team, maintain operational readiness, and ensure that all activities comply with applicable maritime regulations and AYANA's service standards.
- Lead daily cruise and boat operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with maritime regulations.
- Monitor weather conditions, coordinate sailing permits, and ensure compliance with safety procedures and Komodo National Park regulations.
- Ensure excellent guest experiences by coordinating onboard services, handling guest requests, and resolving complaints.
- Manage, supervise, and develop cruise crew through work scheduling, regular briefings, performance evaluations, and training.
- Oversee vessel readiness, maintenance coordination, operational costs, and environmental sustainability practices.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Maritime, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in cruise, yacht, or marine operations, including 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Holds valid maritime safety certifications, such as Basic Safety Training (BST) and First Aid, or is willing to obtain them.
Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, sailing permits, passenger manifests, and Komodo National Park regulations.
Strong leadership, crisis management, and communication skills; fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
