What You Should Know About the Financial Analyst:
- Monday- Friday: Typical Hours- 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. THIS POSITION WORKS OUT OF LITTLE ROCK OFFICE (NOT REMOTE)
- This position is based within Jefferson Regional Decision Support Department
Job Summary:
The Financial Analyst works within a team to deliver high quality business and strategy recommendations to meet the organization’s needs. This position will support the budget & forecast processes, cost accounting functions, new project assessment, and financial analysis of the business. Source data from various systems and create insightful information to support recommendations to leadership. This is a key position in the organization and will be looked upon to be both a “go to data source”, as well as have a unique understanding of the business from a financial perspective.
Financial Analyst Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum requirements:
- Demonstrated understanding of basic database structure design
- Demonstrated proof of accuracy and timeliness in work assignments
- Experience in decision support, financial planning & analysis, or cost accounting
- Preferred requirements:
- Experience with EPSi or Strata preferred.
- Experience with SQL, PowerBl, and Tableau a plus
- Experience as an advanced excel user
