About the role
Are you ready to lead a national franchise that reimagines cancer care and delivers measurable impact for patients and the health system? This role puts you at the helm of a therapy-area franchise with the mandate to set direction, own performance and turn science into real-world outcomes. You will guide strategy across the full pathway, from earlier detection to long-term care, ensuring our innovations reach the right patients at the right time.
Our AstraZeneca Nordic Marketing Company employs around 550 people and has offices located in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, and Espoo. AstraZeneca Nordic is a recognized leader in its core therapy areas and aims to improve the lives of millions of people. This is an area where you are free to be more – you are encouraged to challenge traditional ways and test your curiosity. We drive innovative science, deliver key launches, build close collaboration and partnerships within health care.
Your role
As the business leader, you will orchestrate Sales, Marketing, Medical, Market Access and Corporate Affairs to align clear priorities and execution. You will translate insights and data into decisive action, build partnerships that unlock access and practice change, and deliver launch excellence across an ambitious pipeline. How would you design and lead a national plan that accelerates adoption of high-value diagnostics and therapies while improving the patient’s journey?
Accountabilities
· Set strategy and own performance: Lead the national franchise, portfolio strategy and P&L, ensuring disciplined forecasting, resource allocation, budget management and lifecycle planning.
· Turn insight into action: Convert customer, market and performance insights into focused account plans, engagement strategies and measurable outcomes.
· Shape better care: Integrate diagnostics and other high-medical-value solutions to improve patient outcomes and differentiate the care pathway.
· Lead healthcare-system engagement: Understand patient pathways, decision-making and reimbursement dynamics, building trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, experts, payers and decision-makers.
· Build impactful partnerships: Develop collaborations and data-driven initiatives that remove barriers, expand access and support healthcare-system transformation.
· Aligning the enterprise: Bring Sales, Marketing, Medical, Market Access and Corporate Affairs together around shared priorities, governance and accountability.
· Deliver launch excellence: Lead the successful launch of new products, indications and in-market opportunities, using digital, omnichannel, data and AI-enabled approaches to drive performance.
· Champion an agile culture: Promote commercial excellence, innovation, trust, ethical conduct and continuous improvement across the franchise.
· Collaborate across borders: Partner with Nordic, regional and global colleagues to share expertise, leverage synergies and deliver locally relevant impact.
· Lead and develop people: For Franchise Head roles, coach and develop direct reports and own people processes. For Franchise Lead roles, lead through influence across the matrix while remaining accountable for franchise outcomes.
