As a Government Services Recruiter, your goal is to identify and engage top talent across the range of roles supporting our government services clients and their missions. These opportunities may span engineering, information technology, scientific research, program and project support, operations, administrative functions, and other professional disciplines as client needs evolve. You will use a consultative approach to understand each opportunity, build strong candidate relationships, and deliver exceptional consultant care.
This is a hybrid position based in our Exeter, NH office. Onsite attendance is required two days per week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We operate full-time, Monday through Friday, and this role is eligible to receive medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement benefits, paid time off, paid holidays, and professional development. Eligibility, coverage, and other terms are governed by the applicable plans and company policies.

- Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through targeted outreach, referrals, our candidate database, and industry tools. Build lasting relationships and talent pipelines for current, anticipated, and difficult-to-fill roles.
- Become a trusted staffing partner by sharing relevant opportunities, interview preparation, resume guidance, and industry insights with candidates.
- Partner with Account Executives to qualify job requirements, establish recruiting priorities, and understand required skills, experience, and applicable security clearance or client requirements. Participate in client calls, interviews, and recruiting strategy discussions.
- Provide consistent communication and feedback throughout the hiring process. Continue consultant care after placement through regular check-ins, helping resolve issues, and partnering with the Account Executive to support a positive engagement.
- Ask thoughtful qualifying questions, learn unfamiliar roles, identify transferable skills, and adapt sourcing strategies across disciplines.
- Communicate accurately with candidates about security clearance requirements, client screening processes, and hiring timelines, including extended timelines when applicable. Coordinate questions with the appropriate internal team.
- Meet established recruiting activity, candidate quality, and placement goals. Take ownership of results and manage multiple searches and competing priorities.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of current staffing agency recruiting experience in a commission-based environment, with demonstrated success managing multiple searches, placing candidates, and meeting established performance goals.
- Experience recruiting for technical, scientific, professional, or business support roles, with the ability to learn new disciplines and adapt to varied client needs.
- You are personable, optimistic, and fearless of engaging with new people.
- You define GRIT – passion and perseverance to accomplish long-term goals.
- You enjoy working in a competitive, metrics-based organization where accomplishments are publicly recognized and celebrated on a regular basis.
Preferred Experience
- Experience recruiting for government contractors, defense programs, or positions requiring security clearances, including familiarity with client screening requirements and hiring processes.
