Position Summary
As our Warehouse Picking Team Lead, you'll oversee daily picking operations, ensuring orders are accurate, productivity goals are met, and the team works safely and efficiently. You'll provide direction, support your team members, and work closely with warehouse leadership to keep operations running smoothly.
What You'll Do

Lead and support the daily warehouse picking operations, ensuring orders are completed accurately and on time.

Monitor order flow, including unacknowledged and on-hold orders, and resolve issues that may delay processing.

Ensure orders are picked with the correct products, quantities, and units of measure.

Provide clear direction, assign responsibilities, and coordinate team coverage.

Track productivity, quality, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Train, coach, and develop team members to improve accuracy, efficiency, and performance.

Work with warehouse leadership to address performance concerns, complete reviews, and establish team goals.

Encourage teamwork, recognize achievements, and promote continuous improvement.

Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and handheld scanners.

Maintain a safe, organized, and respectful work environment.

Collaborate with other team leads and managers to support overall warehouse operations.
What We're Looking For

Previous leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to motivate employees and maintain productivity and quality standards.

Dependable, with a strong attendance record and a team-first attitude.

Comfortable using computers, warehouse management systems, and handheld scanners.

Experience operating forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks, or the ability to obtain required certifications.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
