Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Risk and Compliance Officer to work in Kenya.
Job Purpose
To support the implementation and maintenance of the Bank's risk management and compliance framework, ensuring that business activities, products and third-party arrangements are appropriately assessed, approved, monitored and managed throughout their lifecycle. The role provides specialist risk and compliance guidance, strengthens controls and promotes a culture of accountability and regulatory adherence across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Risk and Compliance Framework Implementation
- Implement and maintain the Bank's risk management and compliance frameworks, policies, standards, controls and approval processes.
- Maintain an enterprise-wide inventory of key risk areas, processes and third-party arrangements, ensuring appropriate ownership, risk classification, approvals and lifecycle monitoring.
Risk and Compliance Assessment
- Conduct risk and compliance assessments covering regulatory compliance, data protection, operational risk, third-party risk, technology risk and conduct risk.
- Establish risk-based control, testing and evidence requirements, including control testing, monitoring and incident management.
Review and Coordination
- Coordinate independent reviews and approvals with Legal, Compliance, Data Protection, ICT Security, Risk and relevant business control owners.
