About the role
The General Industrial Ecoat Laboratory is seeking a Senior Chemist to lead the development, commercialization, and line maintenance efforts for new and existing products designed for the General Industrial Market. This individual will work closely with technical management, sales and marketing to identify the needs and timelines for product developments and will coordinate project activities with all the pertinent functions within SW.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
-Be a subject matter expert on Pretreatment technologies and interactions with Ecoat.
-Serves as the primary contact for highly technical and complex questions and concerns from plants, research professionals, quality control, customers, and other internal and external parties regarding liquid coating technology platforms.
-Effectively managing time and resources to ensure that projects work is delivered on long- and short-term goals.
-Manages maintenance of business, new business opportunities, and personnel who analyze, test, and develop new or updated formulas; will perform tasks that require comprehensive understanding of chemistry, product lines, and materials
