Senior Accountant

Join Cavendish Farms as a Senior Accountant and take on a key role supporting accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls, and better business decision-making.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant will combine hands-on accounting with financial analysis and process improvement. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys digging into the numbers, improving how work gets done, and partnering with the business.

Location of Work: 100 Midland Drive, Dieppe, N.B.

Annual Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000

• Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly financial statements
• Maintain internal controls and support financial compliance
• Support annual budgeting and financial planning
• Identify and implement accounting and reporting process improvements
• Develop financial analysis to support business decisions
• Recommend enhancements to financial systems and reporting tools

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA designation or actively working toward completion
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively independently and with a team
• JD Edwards experience is an asset LI-LP1
