About the role
About California Teaching Fellows Foundation:
California Teaching Fellows Foundation (CTFF) is a nonprofit dedicated to developing passionate individuals into expanded learning tutoring roles that directly support TK-12th grade students across the 6 counties we serve. By investing in our Teaching Fellows' growth, we build a sustainable pipeline of future educators who are deeply rooted and committed to the communities they call home.
Our Mission: ELEVATE and EQUIP educators to EMPOWER youth, communities, and themselves.
Our Vision: Teaching Fellows emerge as credentialed teachers and leaders in education and beyond. Students feel seen, supported, and inspired to build their own path. Communities are rooted in the belief that education creates opportunities and hope.
The Opportunity:
External Professional Development Products & Partnerships
Build the partnerships, packaging, pricing, and delivery model that turn CTFF's proven internal professional development into an external offering. Package CliftonStrengths as an external product in coordination with the Senior Manager who serves as a certified practitioner, defining the offering, pricing, and delivery infrastructure. Identify, cultivate, and manage external partners and a client pipeline, beginning with a small number of proof-of-concept engagements that validate the offering before revenue is scaled. Develop proposals, scopes of work, and partner agreements in coordination with the Director and executive leadership. (Performs approximately 30% of day)
Leadership & Office Professional Development Curriculum
Design, build, and continuously improve the professional development curriculum for CTFF's leadership and office teams, owning it end to end from needs analysis through evaluation. Lead the Curriculum Committee, setting priorities, standards, and review cycles so curriculum decisions are made consistently and with the right stakeholders at the table. Align curriculum with CTFF's capability framework and organizational priorities in partnership with the Director. Validate each program internally through pilots, learner feedback, and observed performance before it is considered ready for broader or external use. (Performs approximately 25% of day)
Presenter Bench, Office Fellow Development & Training Delivery
Recruit, develop, and evaluate CTFF's presenter bench, establishing clear quality standards and holding presenters to them. Develop Office Fellows so they can independently design and deliver on-site trainings to a defined standard, providing coaching, observation, and feedback that builds their capacity over time. Deliver on-site and leadership trainings directly, and model the facilitation quality expected across the bench. Build the team's delivery capacity so that growth in training volume does not depend on the Senior Manager personally delivering every session. (Performs approximately 20% of day)
Content Pipeline & Learning Quality
Own the content pipeline that populates Docebo with the leadership and office professional development library, ensuring courses are well-designed, current, and consistently structured. Partner with the Senior Manager overseeing Docebo administration and operational systems so content moves smoothly from design to launch. Establish quality standards for digital and blended learning content, review new courses against those standards, and retire or refresh content as needs change. (Performs approximately 15% of day)
Strategic Support, Data & Communication
Support long-term planning for CTFF's learning products and external revenue strategy in partnership with the Director. Use data (learner feedback, evaluations, completion and performance data, partner results) to measure learning impact, guide improvements, and demonstrate the value of CTFF's professional development to internal and external audiences. Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams, cross-department partners, external clients, and executive leadership, and provide well-grounded, evidence-based recommendations on where to invest, grow, or scale. (Performs approximately 5% of day)
Perform Other Duties as Assigned
Perform other duties as assigned. (Performs approximately 5% of day)
